Foil(ed) Again!

It seems like these little beauties have been popping up all over the place right now, and with good reason.  They are such a wonderful way to add instant glamour to a space.  And gold is so hot right now.

In May, The Everygirl did a feature on co-founder and editor Danielle Moss' Chicago Apartment, which features a Sarah & Bendrix print on her (gorgeously styled) mantel.

Then later that month, Kristin at The Hunted Interior posted about the apartment she did for Room Service Atlanta.  One of the pictures of this room showed off this delightfully southern print that is just... (Click here for a tour of the entire room.)

And THEN two days later, for Sadie & Stella's Favorite Room Feature, Christina from Proper Hunt featured a room with this Kate Spade print:

THEN, in June, For Chic's Sake did a post about styling vanities and included this picture of Paper Sugar's "Be You" print, available here.

See what I mean?

I currently have zero foil prints in my home or any of my client's (HORROR), but I plan to fix that very very soon.  And you KNOW I'll fill you all in on it when I do!

Color Crush: Navy

Time for another color crush!  Navy is such a great color, I just had to write about it.  It's so versatile and has such a wide range of personalities.  Preppy, coastal, sophisticated, moody, glamorous, you name it, Navy can probably do it - and in a great, gorgeous way.  Here is a collection of some navy images that I think will show you just what I mean.

Navy easily equals nautical, but this room is done in such a subtle way... It's just barely nautical.  Which I appreciate.  I think we can all agree that sometimes an understated theme is easier to love than a really over-the-top one.

I've been vibing on navy walls pretty hard lately.  These are some gorgeous examples.

This nylon tote is amazing.  I used one for my baby bag and it cleans up beautifully with a little soap and water.  (Just in case you were wondering...)

Love this.  I gotta have it.

I really love tattoos (on other people), I think they can be beautiful works of art, but this navy one BLEW MY MIND.  I'll have dreams about it, I'm sure.  (Not the GUY, ya'll, just the tattoo.  GEEZ.)
